To work as a photographer at the agency it is need for you to upload
10 perfect images onto Shutterstock. From these 10 images 7 should be
accepted. After each download you receive 0.25 cent. Having reached
$500 of total earnings on this site you will get 30 cents per
download. A lot of photographers earn 500$ each month since they have
hundreds of downloads. One of the most successful photographers, Yuri
Arcurs, has usually circa 1000 downloads per day. To be as successful
as him you need to be rather constant and hard-working.
Shutterstock is one of my favourite agencies because in this site I
sell the most images.
As for the buyers, it is possible for them to download 25 images a day
for 199$ per month.
TIPS
Be very careful to submit images with perfect white balance and
without noise. It is recommended to upload a few images every day so
that your images could be continuously in the spotlight in the search
engine. In this way, your earnings can get bigger and bigger.
